| No !In every way you kneed the knuckle from Lantra J1 because of the distance from the drilled holes in the Calipers !And if you use this knuckles you have to do modifications on the hub that the Brake Disc fits to it...I got Calipers from Tuscani which also fit. Because all other Hyundais, except Pony,Scoupe and i think Accent got the same distance from the drilled holes in the Calipers. Also Terracan can fit. | |

| yes coupe j2 ist the tiburon but also the lantra has the same brakes...if you want to use the shocks from scoupe then you have to use the lantra j1 knuckle...you also could use the complete knuckle from j2 but there you have to bore a new hole in the shocks because the distance from the 2 schock holes is different | |

| what is tarox? with the brakes from above you can brake at 250km/h and you have no problems with fading or such things, you can brake easy...if you brake extremely the back of the car came lightly high | |

| 1. Do you have to use different bearings or Scoupe's fit lantra J1 knuckle? 2. That is also swap from captive to non-captive brakes right? 3. Why not use Lantra hub also? 4. Are knuckels from all J1 Lantras same? 5. I went to kia local garage, to ask them about Carens discs, but guy there asked me for which type Carens II (what engine to be specific)?
Tommorow I'm going to pick up Lantra knuckels. So many qustions. Hope to get answer soon. TNX

| the bearings are the same for scoupe and lantra
yes its a swap from captive to non captive brakes
you could also modify the lantra hub thats same
no I think you need a 1.6 or 1.8 knuckle the 1.5 is different
the disc is from carens 2 2.0crdi

| Got the knuckels. Tommorow I'm picking up discs, and then I'll try to modify the hubs to fit discs. Are calliper from all Santa Fe's same, and can I use 2piston callipers of some other model ( Tucson, Terracan, Coupe maybe)? | |

| So Santa Fe callipers bolt directly on Lantra J1 knuckels without any custom adapters? Have you changed the master cylinder for bigger one? | |

| most masterclyinders from hyundai are the same...in size and pressure if you brake with this setup you also could brake abut 250km/h and it slow down perfectly not like the oem mini brake's...also to high temperatures are very unique
mhm how I found out...that took long until we know this we used nissan callipers with disc's and selfmade adapters...someday I had the lantra knuckels in my hand and I saw that the holes are diffrent...and so I start to measure out all things... then I went to a junk yard and measured there...the disc size I got from Internet I searched most discs from cars with 4x114.3

| Got the discs, now to find someone to modify the hubs... Today I went to car parts shop to se the cost of new Santa Fe callipers, but guy over there asked me for model of Santa Fe (year and engine or chasis number). Do you know, of what model are yours?
I also see that those 2 mounting holes on disc do not match holes on the hub. Did you rebore hub holes, or did you bore new holes in disc?
